Simon de Pury is one of the art world’s leading figures and is the former Chairman and Chief Auctioneer of Phillips de Pury & Company. He has served as Chairman of Sotheby’s Switzerland, Chairman of Sotheby’s Europe and the company’s Principal Auctioneer. He has also organized numerous exhibitions, being the curator of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection. Since 2010, he has served as mentor to the contestants of Bravo’s reality series Work of Art: The Next Great Artist.
